BIOGRAPHY

(EN) I work with analogue photography and experimental darkroom techniques, exploring the intersections of nature, memory, and trauma through material experimentation. With a background in film production and cinematography, I gradually gravitated toward alternative photographic processes, and my practice is now centered on analogue methods. After spending five years studying and working in the film industry in Brisbane, Australia, I returned to Italy in 2022 to work as a freelance photographer. I am now based in London, where I recently completed a Master’s in Photography at the Royal College of Art, integrating poetry and sound design into my work. My practice embraces unpredictability, navigating the tension between control and letting go.

(IT) Lavoro con la fotografia analogica e tecniche sperimentali in camera oscura per esplorare natura, memoria e trauma attraverso la materia. Con un background in produzione cinematografica e direzione della fotografia, mi sono gradualmente avvicinata a processi fotografici alternativi, fino a concentrare oggi la mia pratica su metodi analogici. Dopo cinque anni di studio e lavoro nell’industria cinematografica a Brisbane, in Australia, nel 2022 sono tornata in Italia per lavorare come fotografa freelance. Attualmente vivo a Londra, dove ho recentemente concluso un Master in Fotografia presso il Royal College of Art, integrando poesia e sound design nel mio lavoro. La mia pratica abbraccia l’imprevedibilità, muovendosi nella tensione tra controllo e lasciar andare.
